I have taken many lessons with Jason and honestly what an amazing teacher he is. When I first started, Jason helped me learn the very basics of Chinese but recently Jason has been helping me with HSK study. I was never really confident in sitting the HSK exams but with Jason's help in only a few months, I have managed to pass HSK 1 and 2. Taking the lessons with Jason has significantly helped my scores improve with each exam. Together we are currently working on studying for my HSK 3 exam and every lesson, Jason is so kind, patient and understanding. I ask as many questions during our practice and Jason even assists in helping me understand Chinese Characters in an easy way! Without Jason's help, I would not be where I am today with my Chinese or my HSK abilities.

Jason is a great teacher. He is patient with teaching pronunciation and easy to learn lessons. He does well with younger kids, older kids and adults as he patiently teaches our whole family in group lessons.

I studied Mandarin with a few teachers but Jason stands out. He provides the class with photos, cartoons, even short clips. He is amazing at providing visual examples! The inclusion of images using HSK language was extremely helpful, as opposed to plain text. Sometimes I struggle with tones and accidentally say the wrong thing. Jason politely corrects my mistakes in a kind manner. He is calm, clear, always friendly. I am very grateful for Jason's ability to make me a more confident Chinese speaker.
