I am from South Africa, however I live in Spain and have been teaching English here for over 10 years.
I have an English studies and literature Bachelor´s degree and since I finished studying, I have taught intensive group courses, and one to one private lessons.
In my free time I love to spend time in nature with my dogs, for example visiting different rivers, mountain areas and beaches.
I also try to stay active, whether it is going to gym, cycling my bike around the city or trying new activities like climbing/coasteering or kayaking! I am lucky to be able to take part in many different activities in Valencia, Spain.Ja jako nauczyciel
I have been teaching English at language academies, online and one to one for the last 10 years. I specialize in Business English, helping students improve their curriculum, prepare for a job interview or an important work presentation, are some of the things my classes involve.
I also prepare classes for beginners or students looking to improve their English in general. Since I had to learn Spanish at 15 years old when I moved to Spain, I fully understand the challenges and insecurities that come with learning a foreign language and I can use that knowledge to guide you and help you reach your desired level of English. I am a friendly and patient teacher.
I try to do various activities during my lessons such as speaking activities, reading and use of English exercises and grammar lessons. I check in regularly with my students to ensure that the classes meet their expectations and to see if anything can be changed or improved to make sure that the student truly feels that he or she is learning and improving over time. Excellent lesson with Myka ! She is a nice and calm teacher. We saw various excercises to improve writing, reading and speaking. We always talk about interesting worldwide topics. She really knows how to adapt the course depending on my level 🙂
