French native speaker Hi! My name is Ružica, I am 27 years old and I am a graduated pianist. I grew up in Paris. Currently I live in Serbia, in the countryside, close to Belgrade. In this magical place surrounded by nature, where I live with my husband and little daughters, I take care of domestic animals and our beautiful yard. In my free time I like to play the drums, do pottery, and travel. In addition to French and Serbian, I am fluent in English, too. I can speak a bit of Russian, and would love to learn Italian. I love learning languages because I like talking to people and getting to know different cultures. The goal of my teaching style is that my students can speak French with ease and confidence. I am always open to the wishes of my students, and I adjust my teaching materials according to their profiles and objectives. I think of myself as being patient and compassionate which I think is very important and it surely helps my students to feel no pressure during our classes. I teach grammar through understanding, and I compare it to the grammar of Serbian and English. Mostly, the teaching materials I use are videos, newspaper articles, poetry, extracts from french literature, and various topics for dialogue. We practice pronunciation with the help of tongue twisters and reading texts, and I advise students to listen to French as much as possible, through shows, movies, videos, or songs.
