Hey! My name's Johanna and I'm originally from Slovakia. I absolutely love teaching since day one. I also love language learning since I can remember. And another aspect that's important to mention is the fact that I'm a language learner myself - currently I'm learning French and Korean.
My hobbies are reading, learning something new and watching k-dramas.
... Sometimes the language journey can get difficult, so I'm here to guide you. I'd say that I'm quite calm, kind and (according to my students) funny. So, if you feel like you are struggling with learning Slovak or English, then let me be there for you. :)Ja jako nauczyciel
I believe to be very patient and open to my students making mistakes - it's part of their language journey and it's totally okay if someone makes mistakes, I'm here to correct them. I'm not yelling at anyone through screen and I hardly ever frown. I love the friendly atmosphere that's created between me and my students. I'm always ready to answer questions and help with any sort of difficulty and I welcome humour in my classes as laughing together can ease the stress, especially if you're new to my classes. All I want to say is that it's YOUR language journey to take. I'm only here as your tutor. I will guide you through every step of the way. We can figure out what works the best for you and your learning and I'll gladly adjust to your style. Johanna always prepares materials to meet student's needs. We had great conversational lessons and she helped me feel more confident in speaking. She also does something that most of the teacher can't - She cares a lot :)

Johanna is an amazing teacher! I just commenced on my Slovak journey and had some questions that I couldn't solve myself (even chatgpt wasnt much of help). She is ready to help you with even very bits of Slovak you are trying to speak, so you feel comfortable even tho your sentences are half-English half-Slovak xD
