Olá! Hi!
My name is Manuel and I am from Portugal.
I'm an experienced PLE teacher (PLE - Português como Língua Estrangeira - Portuguese as a Foreign Language)
I have a Bachelors Degree in "Fundamentals and Methodologies of Education" and more than 15 years of experience in the educational field.

I adapt the lessons and teaching methods according to the learning style, goals and needs of each student.
I take my job very seriously, so I do my best to help each student make significant progress.

We are going to work on the 4 skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking.
All the lessons will have a focus on your speaking skills to help you improve your fluency and confidence.

I love my lessons with Manuel. He always gauges the material perfectly and I know that he does a lot of preparation for my lessons (all lessons I’m sure). The material is interesting and there is always a great mix of conversation, listening, grammar etc. So happy to have hooked up with him for lessons

Another useful lesson: talking about Christmas and how we celebrate it. Discussion on types of food and Christmas entertainment.
We built sentences in multiple tenses on the fly and asked and answered questions in different tenses.
It was a useful session with a very good tutor.
