Vincent Shin

Vincent was so patient as I practice reading the Korean alphabet. I get confused with some vowel sounds, but he gave me lots of examples and tips. I always enjoy our class.

This was my first lesson on italki and I was a bit nervous at first, but Vincent was very kind and I soon lost my nervousness. He is definitelly a great teacher and I recommend him to anyone learning Korean.

Vincent was an amazing teacher from day 1. He provided an introduction to the written language using a symbolic system that differed from all the metaphor systems I see online. It helped me internalize the alphabet a bit faster. He walks through a book which is freely available online, but provides valuable colloquial insight and pronunciation guidance. He was also a nice guy and fun to talk to! I'm happily exploring Korea now and using our lessons on the day-to-day.

I had my first lesson with Vincent this morning and was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable I felt right away! I've not spoken Korean regularly for 2 years but I had a much easier time getting into the flow of conversation in this session than I have in my recent lessons with other teachers. Looking forward to additional lessons!

Vincent creates an excellent learning environment that is relaxed but very informative. He explains very well but also gives perfect visual aids to help explain the information easier for visual learners like myself. I already booked a learning package and am looking forward to the next lesson.
