I've had two great lessons with Shiori, I'd strongly recommend her to anyone! 遠慮なくしおりさんのレッスンしてください！おすすめです！ Shiori is kind and patient, and you'll quickly get comfortable and have a conversation just like friends, there's no pressure whatsoever. If you have any worries about your ability to speak, they'll go away if you have a lesson with Shiori. しおりさんありがとうございます！

Shiori sensei did a great job assessing my current level and suggesting materials to study. We reviewed some JLPT materials and she corrected me when needed. She was able to explain words I didn't understand easily and so that I could understand. I will be booking future lessons with Shiori sensei to further improve my Japanese reading to hopefully pass the JLPT one day.

I love just hoping into conversations and seeing where they go. Thank you しおりさんfor providing me with the small questions that I haven't quite mastered yet in Japanese that lead me into the surprising and fun topics that challenge me while being an enjoyable time!

It's been a while since I've spoken Japanese (I studied abroad in Japan for a year and came back a year ago) and so I'm always a little bit nervous to test out my Japanese, but as was the case today as well, Shiori creates such a welcoming atmosphere that I get to stumble through mistakes and ask questions and see areas for improvement without worrying about how I'm being perceived. I think the best teachers are the people who invite opportunities for trying, and who inspire you to engage with the language outside the session, which is what I'm feeling right now. 筋トレの本を頑張ります！
