Hi there, I’m Chad. I’m a native English speaker from the U.S., but I’ve actually been living here in Asia for the last 18 years. I’ve spent the better part of a decade as a language coach on italki, and in that time, I’ve taught almost 5,000 lessons.
Living abroad has given me a lot of perspective on how difficult it can be to move from "knowing" a language to actually feeling comfortable speaking it. I can say that Chad is a patient and polite teacher. Every time he gives me enough time to express my opinion and then corrects me if it needs or just suggests new expressions/idioms. Really appreciate his approach.
