Pamela Vargas

Great lesson with Pamela! We learned about the past tense in Spanish - the imperfecto and indefinido. We worked through several pages of questions, going from easy questions to difficult ones. It is a tricky subject, but Pamela said that the differences can be subtle and it takes time to fully understand. Still, Pamela's explanation was very helpful and I got many of the problems correct!

Such a good listener, kind, and non-judgmental! She's also a gifted conversationalist and corrects me just the right amount so as to not impede the flow of conversion.

Super lesson with Pamela! We had a long, interesting discussion about food and nutrition. Pamela was patient during the times when I struggled to find the right word. Pamela also had an exercise on prepositions, which was a bit tricky but I did very well on it. I know that I made mistakes during our conversations, but Pamela used good judgement in correcting my mistakes!

Great lesson with Pamela! We started with some conversation. After that, we worked on conjunctions. We used several that I wasn't familiar with. Pamela did a nice job of helping me during the conversation when I didn't have the right words!

I just completed my first class with Pamela, and I really enjoyed it. She was patient, spoke at a level I could understand, and had really interesting topics to discuss. I felt instantly at ease speaking with her and making a lot of mistakes. During class, she messaged me the words/phrases that I didn't know or didn't get quite right, and now I can review and practice them later. She was really cool, and I look forward to my future classes with her.
