Great lesson with Pamela! We learned about the past tense in Spanish - the imperfecto and indefinido. We worked through several pages of questions, going from easy questions to difficult ones. It is a tricky subject, but Pamela said that the differences can be subtle and it takes time to fully understand. Still, Pamela's explanation was very helpful and I got many of the problems correct!

Such a good listener, kind, and non-judgmental! She's also a gifted conversationalist and corrects me just the right amount so as to not impede the flow of conversion.

Super lesson with Pamela! We talked about the video "Migrantes" that we watched during the last lesson, and did an exercise based on the video. Pamela also asked me for my opinion on the current situation in the US with respect to immigration. I resisted the urge to switch to English, and Pamela noticed that I was still able to express my thoughts in Spanish. Learning with Pamela has definitely helped me to speak more easily. Pamela also does a nice job of choosing appropriate activities for the lesson - not too easy, not too difficult!

Es un placer hablar con Pamela. Ella es una gran maestra, tiene mucha paciencia y siempre me siento muy comoda platicando con ella y disfruto mucho nuestras clases!

Siempre disfruto muchísimo mis lecciones con Pamela. Ella es una conversadora excelente sobre todos tipos de temas, naturalmente curiosa, y también muy paciente escuchándome y (con cariño :-) corrigiéndo mis errores.

Super lesson with Pamela! We spent the first part of the lesson discussing various topics - housing costs, pollution, etc. After that, Pamela had an interactive video about "migrantes" that we watched. The people speaking didn't speak with a Mexican accent, which made it a bit more difficult. But, the video was interesting and I got several questions right without having to re-watch. Pamela did a great job of choosing which of my speaking mistakes to correct so that the conversation could flow smoothly!
