Beginner-Friendly Mandarin Tutor | Pronunciation, Characters & Cultural Insight I’m a native Chinese speaker from Malaysia. During university, I began tutoring non-Chinese friends, which led me to become an online Mandarin teacher. I’ve been teaching adult learners online for over 4 years. I’m currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (MTCSOL). I specialize in teaching adult beginners. Before my master’s program, I developed my Mandarin teaching skills through hands-on experience. Now, my academic training exposed me to multiple teaching approaches for different learner needs. I carefully track your progress, especially pronunciation, tones, and commonly confused characters, and design targeted practice to help you truly master them.
