I'm a from Bogotá, Colombia, so my native language is Spanish, I also speak English and French. I have a bachelor's degree in Languages (Spanish, English and French) from the Libre University of Bogotá. I have lived in the US and in France. I love learning about other cultures and helping others to achieve their language goals. I have always been passionate about languages and I'm very open-minded and patient with people. I have taught languages to children, teens and adults. I like to use a communicative approach to make the student have confidence while speaking. Speaking is reinforced thanks to grammar, reading and listening activitites from real life situations. I like to get feedback so students get to know if they are doing well and how well they're progressing in class. I'm very patient, I assign homeworks so students practise outside the class and if they have any doubts they can ask them the next lesson. Moje lekcje & Styl nauczania
It depends on the person and the level he/she is at, but I usually start teaching useful expressions and some grammar as well, cause it is the basis to speak correctly a language. When students start getting more vocabulary and they are more confident, I make them read or listen to YouTube videos related to the topic we are talking about. I always try to use the target language during class and the communicative approach. I give feedback at the end of the lessons and I also ask for the class' feedback, to know how the student felt and to think what I can probably do for next class (if I have to change any activity or if I have to bring more activities to reinforce the topic).Moje materiały dydaktyczne

ve had many teachers on iTalki over the years, and Andrea is one of the best. She brings great energy, thoroughly prepares for each lesson, and explains concepts clearly. I'm excited to continue classes with her and look forward to making more progress in my language-learning journey

I greatly enjoyed my lesson with Andrea. She sent me very helpful notes at the end of the lesson. Her attention to my proper grammar and verb conjugation was exactly what I was looking for. She friendly and understanding. I would recommend her to my friends.

Today we did a lot of practice with speaking and it really made me pull out words that I haven't used in a while. I had to mentally search for dormant phrases, but Andrea was there every step of the way to help me. I received corrections on some errors that I was making. Overall, I really enjoyed the lesson and the time flew by for me.
