I’m Octavio Reyes, I'm Mexican and I'm 34 years old. I’ve lived in France for 2 years and 1 year in Canada. I studied Law and I have a Masters Degree in Criminal Law. I’ve taught History, Geography, Ethics and Languages for the last 10 years. I love to travel and to experience new cultures. It is something that has helped me to appreciate the beauty of my own country as well deepening my interest in other cultures. I consider myself a happy and easy going person, a deep thinker and a good listener. I love to teach as much as I do being a student myself and learning from others. Animals and the natural world in which they live are also things that are of great importance to me.

I’ve had a few classes with Octavio now, and I can wholeheartedly recommend his lessons to anyone looking to seriously learn Spanish. He is able to balance free-flowing conversations with structured lessons and it truly feels like learning from a friend than a teacher. Even when I slip up and make basic mistakes, he is patient and he walks me through it in a way that I am able to fix my own mistake, which truly helps as it sticks and I don’t repeat it. So yeah, 10/10, absolutely recommend!

My Spanish is good enough that our lessons are mostly conversation. Octavio is curious about EVERYTHING and we have suce interesting conversations. Octavio also teaches my granddaughter who has just begun to learn Spanish and he is equally skilled with teaching a beginner 11-year-old.
