Hi! My name is Armin. I am a native English/Farsi speaker but that’s not all! I’m a polyglot.
I have a BA in American literature, with a minor in Language Teaching, and a Master's degree in US History where I specialized in the history of citizenship in the United States. I am now working on my PhD in English Literature at the University of Florida.Ja jako nauczyciel
As an autodidactic polyglot, I am pretty familiar with challenges and tricks of learning languages and I help students overcome and master them.
I have been teaching in different schools in several countries to students of different ages and levels. I am currently a teacher in a junior-high school in Italy.
I have had classes for IELTS & TOEFL preparations, business courses, general English for children and adults and also conversation classes.

I use text books for beginners and elementary students and articles and podcasts for more independent users.
If you want to enhance your general English and you decide to take a number of lessons with me, that means you are going to have to get ready for doing homework assignments and constant assessments of your learning. I also hand out extra materials to you that you can work on between our sessions so that you wouldn’t lose touch with language during the time we are not in the class.

Over the past six years, a high percent of my students have passed their exams with distinction and they have developed a visible interest in learning languages in general. I conduct lessons entirely in English and the students get the chance to improve their understanding very quickly and become active users of English very quickly.

I used to use the latest topics and issues for such classes using articles from magazines or TV programs where students got to enjoy very authentic and up-to-date discussions.

In 2015, the agency decided to include English in its course list. I love my lessons with Armin. Armin is a real polyglot and a seasoned teacher who deeply knows the difficulties his students may encounter and gladly offers solutions. I am lucky enough to have found him from thousands of excellent teachers on italki. Armin has a gentle, positive manner, and is incredibly patient which is perfect for me. I have learnt so much in a short period of time and I feel I will still make great progress. :)

Oh my goodness Armin is the best! I've been having classes with him for a while now, and it's just been great. I can tell that he's adjusted his methods to fit what works best for me, and I can really see the results. I recently had the chance to put it all to the test by going to Italy and needing to communicate with native Italian colleagues... and I could do it for the first time! I didn't need everything translated for me, and I could express myself in complex ways. Surely it wasn't perfect, but it was a huge leap from the last time I was there. I've tried other apps and programs and nothing has worked as well as having consistent lessons with Armin. He's also just a kind and joyful and interesting human being.
