Hello! I'm Michiko. I'm Japanese, originally from Japan, and I’m easygoing, open-minded, and friendly.I currently live in Thailand with 3 cats and 2 dogs. I am an animal lovers. I've been teaching Japanese to all levels, from beginners to advanced, and I also do translation work. I have 17 years of experience in the fashion industry as a buyer and seller and studied both fashion and arts in college.I love backpacking, nature, and adventure and have traveled to over 20 countries. As a foodie, I really enjoy cooking, baking, and trying new foods anywhere I go! My classes are flexible, can be adapted for your academic, work or business needs.▶︎focus on ① Teaching real, conversational Japanese so you can speak naturally, not just from textbooks. I don’t focus on textbooks for speaking practice (though they are used for grammar, JLPT. preparation, and beginners). There’s also a lot of informal Japanese that native speakers use daily, plus "unusual" Japanese found in Yakuza movies, manga, and anime.
