As a native Mandarin speaker, I love communicating with friends from all over the world and am dedicated to helping learners speak Chinese confidently and authentically. I enjoy reading, traveling and watching movies, and I also love continuously learning and growing through teaching. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced learner, I look forward to accompanying you to explore the charm of the Chinese language. I have been a Mandarin teacher since 2010. At first, I worked as a mandarin teacher in a language training school. I love teaching there and I have got so many good students. They are not just my students, but also my friends. The only thing I dislike is that I can only use their textbook to teach and I noticed it doesn't suit every student. Then I found italki. I have many textbooks and I also designed many materials according to students' needs. I want every student to make progress. I teach students in all ages and levels and I teach any topic you want. In the first class I will evaluate your level and choose a suitable learning material for you. During the class, I try not to speak English and hope you can do the same. After class I will send you the class notes and give you some homework.

SPECTACULAR TEACHER! Highly recommend. I had my very first mandarin Chinese lesson with Anna and I couldn't have asked for a better teacher. She was very patient with me as I struggled with my tones! I will definitely be scheduling more lessons!!

Teacher Anna always so good, today my daughter said why the lesson so short time, she want want longer, time was not enough but it was covered a few topic, thank you teacher Anna, you corrected her pronunciation.

Anna really helps me to speak as much as possible, engaging at my level and helping activate some of my vocabulary, while correcting and helping me learn new words and grammar structures. I feel very encouraged!

Anna is very good at explaining different sentence structures and examples in Mandarin. She highlights the importance of context in choosing which verbs and sentence structures to use. A great teacher!
