Language mentor, language learner – let's learn together! I'm a very patient, agreeable person and I also try to be flexible in adapting my methods to fit the student's aims and learning style. I've learned Finnish and German to an upper intermediate level myself, so I'm very aware of how overwhelming it can be to learn a new language, especially at the very beginning. Reading, writing, listening, speaking, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, dialects, slang, differences between written and spoken usage – there is so much to learn! One of my main priorities is trying not to overwhelm the student by introducing too much new information all at once. Learning a language takes time. No need to rush. We'll get there!
