I have learned so much about foreign languages and the language learning process through my Spanish degree in university and in learning German on my own outside of the classroom. Let's neglect the difficult grammar for a while and you will be surprised how soon you will be able to comunicate! Let me give you an example: What if I said: "Have he cat?" instead of "Does he have a cat?" - It's wrong, but totally understandable! -> So if you say "Er haben Katze?" instead of "Hat er eine Katze?" everybody will be able to understand you!

relaxed german conversations ich würde sagen ich bin eine geduldige Lehrerin und lasse dem Schüler Zeit in aller Ruhe die Sätze zu konstruieren.( jedenfalls hoffe ich das haha) Das grösste Problem ist, finde ich, dass Leute sich unter Druck gefühlt setzen eine Sprache in kurzer Zeit beherrschen zu müssen und schnell in selbiger Sprache antworten zu müssen. Wenn man sich weniger unter Druck gesetzt fühlt, kann man sich auch besser ausdrücken. Ausserdem versuche ich das Selbstbewusstein des Schülers in der Sprache zu stärken.
