I know how challenging it might be to start learning a new language, so here on italki I would like to help you as much as I can with your progress in Norwegian and also to keep your motivation up. During the first lesson I will be able to evaluate your Norwegian proficiency and understand your goals and expectations. Then we move on with learning whatever is important to you at that moment, anything from reading texts and grammar training to conversational practice and pronunciation. The important thing for me is that you’re enjoying the lessons with me and that you feel at ease when practicing Norwegian.

Teaching 11 languages, currently learning 3 more, 20+ years of experience as a teacher When teaching I take both my schedule and my classes seriously. When a class is scheduled, it is part of my weekly plan and I get ready for it. I conduct a detailed journal of what I have been doing with my student, I write down every session, thus it is easy for me to check what we did on our previous sessions. I used to teach more conventionally, meaning with my students being in the same room as me. In 2021 I started using Skype for my classes (I now conduct my lessons on Teams) and things work out very well. I am always punctual as I respect the time my students take for our lessons, likewise I do appreciate if my students do the same.
