It was overcast today, with a light drizzle in the afternoon. After last night’s party, my family started a group chat and added me to it. The chat was quickly flooded with ads and coupons from all kinds of restaurants and eateries. Hitherto, I’d always thought of Mom as the ultimate foodie, holding an unbeatable title in our family. But after seeing the staggering amount my uncle spent on last night’s dinner, I’d say he and Mom are now tied for the title of Big Time Foodie. Unsurprisingly, they’ve already started discussing where to eat next. I guess it’s in our blood—hereditary, even.

I don't have any pets. But I want to have dogs. I especially like Samoyeds. It is very fluffy, white and cute. If I get rich, I'll definitely keep that.

Today was a day off and there was nothing, so I was lying around at home all the time. I hardly got out of bed, so I think my body has become very dull. I thought it was really bad, so I went to the gym and did some light exercise. I want to do my best again for a week from tomorrow.

Today is Father’s Day in Japan. In my family, we celebrated by giving my dad a fruit cake. The cake had many kinds of fruit, and they were all very sweet and delicious. We ate the cake together and talked a lot. It was the first time in a while that my whole family talked like that, so I was really happy. I think it was a very nice day.

I did some TOEIC practice today, mainly focusing on the reading section. I didn’t set a time limit and just went at my own pace, but it ended up taking way longer than I thought. It took a while to really understand the passages, and picking the right answers was tricky because the choices were so similar. I definitely want to get faster and more accurate over time.

I’m going to eat doria with my friend today. Since it’s getting warmer, we’re going to take a walk together at night. I’m really looking forward to it.
