........pretend basketball...........
My sons are taking a swimming class. At the end of each class, the coach always plays a game with them, where they use a hulla-hoop as "a pretend basketball rim" and a toy ball as "a pretend basketball".
1. Could I say that was 'pretend basketball'?
2. Is it correct to ask them, "Did you play pretend basketball yesterday"?
3. "a pretend basketball rim" and "a pretend basketball," do these phrases sound natural? How would you describe them?
Thank you very much. :)
