It is a tipical dish of Venezuela, it isn't dificult doth, but as almost always to someone persons to do it dish better than others. The principal ingredient is the tender corn 🌽.
First, with a edged knife, to cut the grains of corn without to cut cornhusk.
After, to mill the grains already cut before and catch the milk of corn that comes out when we mill, catching it in a cup.
In a big recipient to amass while add as sugar and only a small part of salt. Add too the milk of corn that we catch before.
For it moment, we need to have a sheet very hot; to grease it with butter and extend as the mass as if we made pancakes. Then we must wait a little while and turn back our cachapa.
Now is moment of to spread the cachapa with butter and add cheese. And this way is already our cachapa with cheese.
It dish is common at august month, because that is the harvest time of corn in Venezuela. Someone persons like to eat the cachapa with crisp pork rind.
