Although I'm from the UK, I lived in China for 15 years, teach a large number of Chinese students, and even have a Chinese girlfriend. Cultural Differences between the UK and China

こんにちは。マンガ『SPY×FAMILY（スパイファミリー）』が、アニメになりましたね。もうご覧（ごらん）になった人はいますか？

日本といえばスパイよりも、忍者（にんじゃ）を思い浮かべる（おもいうかべる）人が多いかもしれません。でも、日本でもスパイは人気ですよ。

1962年に作られたジェームズ・ボンド（James Bond）の映画『Dr. No』は、翌年（よくねん）『007は殺しの番号』（ゼロゼロナナはころしのばんごう）という邦題（ほうだい）で日本で公開（こうかい）され、大ヒットしました。

邦題とは、日本で付けられた映画などのタイトルです。この映画は人気で1972年に再上映された際（さい）、『007ドクター・ノオ』（ゼロゼロセブン ドクター・ノオ)の邦題に変更されました。

現在、新しい映画の007「ゼロゼロセブン」は、英語の読み方に倣って（ならって）「ダブルオーセブン」と呼んでいます。

それでも昭和（しょうわ）に生まれた日本人は、まだ「ゼロゼロセブン」呼ぶ人がたくさんいます。私も「ゼロゼロセブン」と呼びますね。

SNSを使ってアンケートをしてみましたが、だいたい6割（60％）くらいの人が「ダブルオーセブン」、4割（40%）くらいの人が「ゼロゼロセブン」と呼んでいました。若い人ほど「ダブルオーセブン」と呼んでいるようです。

ジェームズ・ボンドの映画が登場（とうじょう）した1960年代（ねんだい）以降（いこう）、日本ではスパイを扱った映画やドラマが人気になりました。

スパイが活躍する日本のマンガやアニメも登場、ジェームズ・ボンドのように主人公（しゅじんこう）が様々（さまざま）な国で活躍する作品が、次々（つぎつぎ）誕生します。

特に人気になったのが1967年に発表されたマンガ『ルパン三世』（ルパンさんせい）。泥棒（どろぼう）が主人公のマンガですが、主人公がスパイと同じように活躍する作品です。

『ルパン三世』は1971年にアニメ化され、現在も新作アニメが作られる人気シリーズです。『SPY×FAMILY（スパイファミリー）』のオープニングアニメは、この『ルパン三世』を意識して作ったようですね。

さて、『SPY×FAMILY（スパイファミリー）』の第1話（Episode 1）は、「オペレーション〈梟ストリクス〉」のタイトルが付けられています。

わざわざ日本人もあまり使わない「梟」（フクロウ＝owl）という漢字を使っています。これは、日本の有名な小説家（しょうせつか）、司馬遼太郎（しばりょうたろう）の「梟の城」（ふくろうのしろ）という小説へのオマージュではないか、と思います。

「梟の城」は日本の戦国時代（せんごくじだい）の、忍者を主人公にしたお話です。任務（にんむ）を与えられた忍者は、ある女性を愛するようになりますが、実はその女性も彼を監視（かんし）する任務を持つ忍者でした。

このストーリー、『SPY×FAMILY（スパイファミリー）』に少し似ていますね。「梟の城」は1999年に映画化されているので、忍者に興味（きょうみ）のある人は見てはいかがでしょうか。

アニメ『SPY×FAMILY（スパイファミリー）』を通じて、日本のポップカルチャーや歴史（れきし）など、様々なことを知ることができます。
