Professor ProfissionalBreakfast Today|今日份早餐🥣
大家早上好👋!Wish you all would have a good day on Monday. Today I’d like to introduce a dish that may be both unfamiliar and familiar to you -- 抄手(chāo shǒu)!
It is better known as 馄饨(hún tun) or 云吞(yún tūn). Of course, different names lead to the differences in the preparation method slightly. In southwestern China, especially in Sichuan and Chongqing, it is customarily referred to as "Chāoshǒu".
There are two main stories about the origin of its name on the Internet: one is because of the shape, and the other is from its short cooking time.
It can be made into a variety of flavors, the most famous of which are the one with chilly oil on the picture two😋(recommended for those who like spicy food or can eat spicy food). But today I ate it in a clear soup with nothing in it. 😉
