My daughter bought a cream tea yesterday afternoon and I was worried about her having such heavy, sweetened cream because these kinds of foods aggravate her eczema. To curb the eczema, she had been refraining from eating stimulating foods such as her favorite beef, shrimp, salmon, and crab. Yet, now, she was violating the doctor’s suggestions and eating a fatty food. Although I had my doubts, I didn’t stop her having it, because it was the weekend, and I didn’t want to take that happiness away from her. Thus, she drank it all. The result, though, was that last night, her eczema became severe and she was frequently scratching herself. Consequently, she didn’t sleep well and had large, dark eye circles and an inflamed face. I really should have prevented her having the cream tea.
