"Men argue, nature acts", Voltaire. This proverb seems to be true because we, humans, no matter how much headway we have made, nature has its own way.
It can neither be altered nor be tweaked. The current environmental problems, unprecedented in history, are due to anthropogenic activities causing imbalance in atmosphere. Climate change , for instance, is the root cause of global as well as regional environmental problems, such as rise in temperature, heat waves, forest fires, bio diversity loss, drought, water scarcity, torrential rains. As per the scientific reports, our atmosphere needs carbon dioxide, CO2, between 0.02 to 0.03 percent, however it is now over 0.04 percent, making earth warmer than what is naturally required. Resultantly, the temperature of the Earth is increasing rapidly. Global environmental problems are the result of pumping greenhouse gasses into atmosphere. Recent heat waves in Europe and floods in South Asia are the manifestations of it. Thus, in order to cope with the global and regional environmental problems, pragmatic and time bound steps are needed and the world should act unitedly to save the earth planet.
