여러분이 찾던 워니예요! "the WONY, you are looking for!" 💖🥖☕🖼✈️🌈 ✍In 2019, I started my first Korean class at a university language school in Vietnam. I was in charge of the beginner's class in Korean, gave various Korean culture classes in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, and had experience in teaching Korean classes as well as visa interview classes. All the students I taught have come to Korea to study and achieve their dreams such as employment and study. ✍In Korea, the university's language school also taught beginner students of various nationalities such as China, Russia, and Vietnam. The university's language school uses ONLY Korean in class. Many students have returned to their home countries due to the pandemic, but they still maintain close relationships.

Professional Korean teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience Korean and English are very different languages. The way people say thing is different and the word order is also very different. (In Korean, the verb comes last). For example, in English, we say "What are you talking about?" But in Korean, we say "What kind of saying is it? (=무슨 말이에요?)" Also, in English, we say "Happy birthday." But in Korean, we say "Birthday congratulations (= 생일 축하해요)." Example like these show just how different English and Korean are. If we literally translate English to Korean, it sound very unnatural. So, when we study Korean, memorizing natural Korean sentences is very important. I will teach you how to make natural Korean sentences.

Certified language teacher with over 10 years of teaching experiences I think the most important quality as a teacher is the ability to encourage learners. Learning a language is not always easy and there are ups and downs. And it requires quite a bit of efforts and dedication. I believe that a good teacher makes learning more pleasant even when learners bump into obstacles, and makes them feel comfortable and relaxed so that they can speak without feeling nervous. So I try to be a good listener. I also try to make each class fun and helpful with enough preparation. One more thing: I teach mainly late teens~adults. I'm just better with grown-up learners :)

Although I do not speak English very well but If you decide to study with me, I will do my very best to teach you what you want to know. 저도 외국어를 공부해 봐서 알지만 무겁고 딱딱하게 공부하면 문법 생각에 말문이 트이지 않고 긴장해서 알던 말도 안 나오는 경우가 많았습니다. 저는 수업을 통해서 편안하게 즐겁게 학생분들께 되도록 한국어를 많이 사용하시게 하면서 성취감을 느낄 수 있는 수업을 하고 싶습니다.

As a teacher, I strongly believe that making mistakes is a natural part of the learning process. Especially for adult learners, fear of making mistakes can often be the biggest barrier to speaking a new language. That’s why creating a comfortable and supportive speaking environment is one of my top priorities. In my classes, you are encouraged to speak freely, try new expressions, and make mistakes without pressure. I strongly believe that adult language learning should be fun-based. Whether your motivation comes from work, exams, or just pure interest, learning is most effective when it’s enjoyable and relevant to your life.
