IELTS Preparation Specialist – 11 Years Helping Students Achieve Band 7, 8, and Beyond I’ve been teaching English for 11 years, and most of that time I’ve helped students prepare for the IELTS exam. I’ve worked with learners from many different countries to improve their Speaking and Writing skills. I also spent two years with the British Council in China, where I supported the IELTS Speaking and Writing exams. Until recently, I continued working online with the British Council, helping students get ready for their tests. This experience has given me a deep understanding of how the exam is marked and what examiners look for. Because of this, I consider myself an IELTS Specialist. I’m here to support you with clear advice, personalised feedback, and focused practice.

I began teaching in 2008, and have spent over a decade teaching full-time. I first taught at Berlitz in Japan for two years, then after returning to the UK I received my CELTA from International House and went on to teach at language schools in London, before becoming an independent teacher in 2019.
