My name is Ryan Higgins, and I am an Arizona State University certified TESOL English Language Educator. I have over 17 years of experience guiding English Language Learners to achieve their Goals of becoming Proficient English Language Speakers. I subscribe to Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) as described by great educators such as; Mike Long, Peter Skehan, John Plews, KangXian Zhao, and many others. This approach focuses on what you need to do with the English Language. This is done by conducting a thorough Needs Analysis after which a Personalized Task-Based syllabus is designed to identify the target tasks required of you. We will use authentic language materials, not simplified and irrelevant language found in most textbooks, to help you acquire the language you need to accomplish those target tasks.
