Thanks to many of my students, I have been become one of the most experienced Japanese teachers at italki. I use PPT and Word documents to explain grammar points, etc. in English. My native language is Japanese, but I am trained and qualified to teach in Australia and I feel more comfortable explaining Japanese in English. This approach can be especially helpful for English-speaking students. For advanced learners, I may use little to no English.

As mentioned in 'About Me', I am not a typical type of Japanese person, rather, I would like to train my student indepent or be able to get through any issue by themselves. Some of my friends tell me that I am approachable. So you can feel free to give me any kind of question or request. I have student who is struggled with Dyslexia. Experienced Japanese teacher with cultural insight and advanced English skill. With over 10 years of teaching experience, I’ve had the privilege of working with students from all over the world. I spent nearly 3 years teaching at the largest Japanese language school in Singapore, where I led classes from beginner to advanced levels, including group lessons, one-on-one sessions, and JLPT preparation courses for N5 and N4. My teaching approach is based on the Direct Method (teaching Japanese in Japanese), which is challenging but highly effective, but I am also fluent in English so you don’t need to worry about any language barriers.
