A licensed teacher in Swedish, English, Spanish and a Polyglot (6 languages and counting) As a teacher, I am professional, structured and I know how to motivate my students - which is exactly why I have had success in my classrooms so far. Since I am a professional teacher - and by professional I mean licensed - I am familiar with the latest methods and approaches to teaching and learning. The fact that I speak four languages is useful for you as a student, as I can incorporate my knowledge of languages into the content that I deliver. Languages are seldom isolated; rather, they are interconnected in such as way that you, if you are able to master several languages, are much more likely to be able to explain grammatical concepts and structures in a pedagogical and digestible way.

Language learning made fun through creative and interactive means I don't like to call myself a teacher because of the connotation in my brain. I see a teacher as someone traditionally teaching grammar structures in a classroom and having students study one long wordlist after the other, but that's just my perception! I'd call myself a tutor because I like to teach people Swedish informally and using all the creative means I can to get words and expressions to stick with them. Being a calm and patient person also makes me into an ideal tutor!

I have been teaching Swedish on Italki since 2017, so I am experienced with both new beginners and those who are fluent and all levels in between. No matter how much you know, there are always some things you can learn. I don't have any dialect. I speak rikssvenska (the official/neutral dialect). I speak clearly. It is easy to understand me.

I have had students that hardly knew the alphabet when I started to teach them and I have had students that already spoke quite good Swedish when I met them. After moving to Ireland, I worked as a Swedish tutor for employees and in Sales for the Swedish market at various companies in Dublin.
