hola a todos! Can anyone please tell me 'when to use 'tu eres' and 'ustedes son'?
For example in this sentence, 'You are professional soldiers." I translated it to 'Tu eres soldados profesionales.' But in the website where I'm learning Spanish marked it wrong and that 'Ustedes son soldados profesionales.' is the correct answer.

There's no such words like that in Tagalog. It's a formal way of saying 'hello' in Korean. :)

I know that 'goosht koobide' is a traditional Persian beef stew. But if someone calls you 'goosht koobide', what does he mean by it?

Hagdan(stairs/ladder) is the steps where we use to go up and down while hagdanan (stairway) refers to the whole model of the stairs and the area where the stairs is positioned or located.

(1) Gaano ka kadalas pabalik-balik ng Pilipinas? (2) Saan naninirahan ang karamihan sa pamilya mo? Sa Amerika o Pilipinas? (3) Ang Nanay ko ay galing ng Cebu. or you could say "Ang Nanay ko ay tubong Cebu."
That's for Tagalog. I don't know in Cebuano. :)
