I LOVED my lesson with Rafaela! My whole night got thrown off and this was the last of a few back-to-back meetings. She rolled with it and jumped into a lesson that challenged me (I get very self-conscious about speaking Portuguese) and was also a lot of fun. She spoke largely in Portuguese, repeating certain phrases (which I then learned in addition to the actual lesson). I got the feeling that I could get along well with Rafaela as well as learn a ton from her. I would highly recommend scheduling a session with her!

This has been my first lesson with Rafaela, and I can tell that it could not have been a better start. She is, above all, highly enthusiastic, and does not treat her adult student as a 10 year old (unfortunately, something very common in language training). I will be definitely repeating and take regular sessions with her. Sound and pronunciation are key for my understanding and appreciation of languages, and Rafaela's focus on accuracy in this department is outstanding for my instruction. Muito brigado, Rafaela!

I speak decent Spanish, but am an absolute beginner in Portuguese. Rafaela, who is fluent in bith English and Spanish, is surprisingle effective at working with my level!
