今天是4月3日，星期六，天气晴
今天，女儿从学校放学回家，说只有一项（xiang4, measure word) 作业，就是画画，画一张画，我的梦想(meng4xiang3, wishful thinking)。画完后，她把画给我，妈妈请你拍照(pai1zhao4, take photo)，然后发(fa1, to send to)给老师吧。她很开心, 看起来很喜欢那张画。我想她可能画了医生，因为她一直说长大以后要做一个医生。结果一看，根本不是医生，而是一片大海。
海上有一只美人鱼。公主的身体，鱼的尾巴，颜色很漂亮。海边还有一座小岛，岛上有一棵大树，海里画了不少的鱼，各种各样的。海底呢，还有一个箱子，里面有宝石（bao3shi1, precious stone）。
我觉得很奇怪，不知道她画了什么梦想。我问她说：老师说要把自己的梦想画下来，从这幅画里，我看不出你的梦想呀？然后，她指着(zhi3 zhe, to point to)那只小小的美人鱼说：这就是我的梦想。
“什么？你的梦想是做一只美人鱼吗？”我有点惊讶呀：“为什么呀？”
女儿看着我说：“因为美人鱼不用每天洗头和洗澡呀！”
可是你要怎么和老师说呢？这可是作业！
我哭笑不得(ku1 xiao4 bu4 de, find sth. both funny and annoying)，你就这么不喜欢洗头和洗澡呀？但是你的想法真的是好可爱！好吧，真的是我自己亲生的，好像我小时候也不喜欢刷牙和洗脸。
那么，你小时候有没有什么特别可爱的事情呢？

               āi yɑ ， xiǎo wánɡ ， nǐ yě zài zhèr ā ！ hǎo qiǎo ne ！     
               Hi，xiao Wang,! It's so happen you are also here!
小 王：对呀，刘老师，您也在这儿啊！您在这儿忙些什么呢？
            duì yɑ ， liú lǎo shī ， nín yě zài zhè ér ā ！ nín zài zhè ér mánɡ xiē shén me ne ？ 
           Exactly, Ms Liu. You are here ,too. What are you busy with?
刘老师：我刚刚辅导完一个学生呀，你呢？
               wǒ ɡānɡ ɡānɡ fǔ dǎo wán yí ɡè xué shenɡ yɑ ， nǐ ne ？
              I just tutored a student. How about you?
小 王：哦，我没事儿，就在这边随便逛逛。
            ò ， wǒ méi shì ér ， jiù zài zhè biān suí biàn ɡuànɡ ɡuànɡ 。 
            o, nothing. I just strolled nearby randomly.
刘老师：跟你都好久不见了，最近在忙些什么呢？
               ɡēn nǐ dōu hǎo jiǔ bú jiàn le ， zuì jìn zài mánɡ xiē shén me ne ？ 
              Long time no see you. What are you busy with recently?
小 王：我还是像日常一样的工作呗，上下班，三点一线。
              wǒ hái shì xiànɡ rì chánɡ yí yànɡ de ɡōnɡ zuò bei ， shànɡ xià bān ， sān diǎn yí xiàn 。 
             Still work as usual, go to work, off work, three points and one line.
刘老师：跟女朋友还好吗？
                ɡēn nǚ pénɡ you hái hǎo mɑ ？ 
                Is your girlfriend good?
小 王：刘老师，我没有女朋友啊，您是不是记错人了啊？
               liú lǎo shī ， wǒ méi yǒu nǚ pénɡ you ā ， nín shì bu shì jì cuò rén le ā ？ 
              Ms Liu, I don't have girlfriend. Didn't you remember a wrong person?
刘老师：这样啊，那你赶紧去找一个女朋友吧！
               zhè yànɡ ā ， nà nǐ ɡǎn jǐn qù zhǎo yí ɡè nǚ pénɡ you bɑ ！ 
              So it is, then you hurry up to find a girlfriend.
小 王：好的，我也希望能找到一个满意的女朋友。
             hǎo de ， wǒ yě xī wànɡ nénɡ zhǎo dào yí ɡè mǎn yì de nǚ pénɡ you 。 
             Ok, I also hope to find a nice one.
刘老师：嗯，好的，那我们改天再约了哈，再见。
               èn ， hǎo de ， nà wǒ men ɡǎi tiān zài yuē le hā ， zài jiàn 。  
小 王：再见。
