IELTS Speaking Part 1 - Transportation (Band 8-9 answers)

こんにちは。
今日は自動詞と他動詞の意味の区別について説明します。
Today I will discuss the distinction between the meanings of transitive and intransitive verbs.

ルール１
(自動詞は「を」がつかない）
　例：ドアが閉まる。
　例：パソコンがつく。 
（他動詞は「を」がつく）
　例：ドアを閉める。
　例：パソコンをつける。
他動詞は結果、自動詞は原因です。
➀ドアを閉める。（原因）　ドアが閉まる。（結果）
　「私がドアを閉める」
　→ドアが閉まる。
②パソコンをつける。（原因）パソコンがつく。（結果）
　「私がパソコンをつける」
　→パソコンがつく。

例外が２つあります。
「を」がつく自動詞があります。Intransitive verbs with 「を」(exception)

１．
例１）空港を出発する。
例２）家を出る。
※「を」の意味は起点です。起点はスターティングポイントです。（「を」representing a starting point）
２．
例１）公園を歩く。
例２）橋を渡る。
※「を」は経路を表します。経路はルートです。（「を」for a route)

ルール２
他動詞のペアがない自動詞➀ (Only intransitive verb)
例１：雨が降（ふ）った。
例２：花が咲（さ）いた。
例３：今夜は月が明るく輝（かがや）いている。
自然に起こることを表しています。（indicates a state occurs natural)

他動詞のペアがない自動詞② (Only intransitive verb)
例１：子どもたちはいすに座った。
（子どもが座る）
例２：飛行機が空を飛んでいる。
　　　（飛行機が飛ぶ）
人や物への働きかけがない動作を表しています。
（Refers to an action that does not have any impelling effected on other people or things）
例１：子どもたちはいすに座った。
（子どもが座る）
例２：飛行機が空を飛んでいる。
　　　（飛行機が飛ぶ）

ルール３　自動詞がない動詞（only transitive verb）
例１：先生が子どもをしかった。
（Teacher scolded the child.）
例２：私はリーさんに仕事を頼んだ。
（I asked Mr Lee to do the job.）
これらは、人や物への働きがある動作を表しています。
（refers to an action that has some impelling effect on other people or things)
例１：先生が子どもをしかった。
（Teacher scolded the child.）
例２：私はリーさんに仕事を頼んだ。
（I asked Mr Lee to do the job.）

      我刚刚有了微信，我会用了。我在微信里面也看到了很多莫言创作的，但不是我写的，非常好的作品。在北京有一次吃晚饭，有一个非常漂亮的优雅的一个女士就说“莫言老师，我要朗读一首你的诗歌献给你，《你若懂我该有多好》”她朗读得声情并茂，是吧。目光里边就是闪闪的含着泪光。我听了也很感动，是吧。后来他读完了，我就说如果是我写的该有多好。

translation: I only just downloaded Wechat, and I can use it now. I've seen a lot of nice works on Wechat credited to Moyan, but actually a lot of them weren't written by me. Once, I was at a dinner party in Beijing, during the dinner a very beautiful and elegant woman said to me ‘Moyan laoshi*,I will read one of your masterpieces for you—'It would be wonderful if you really understood me’ She reads with the full force of her emotions. I can see her eyes begin to well up with tears, and I was touched. When she finished reading, I said to her 'It would be wonderful if it was me that had written that'.

*here ‘laoshi’is not teacher,refers to respectful title for masters of their field*

Do you know about the "Spring Festival"?
春节是中国的新年。
chūn jié shì zhōng guó de xīn nián 。
The Spring Festival is the Chinese New Year.
春是“春天”，节是“节日”。
chūn shì “ chūn tiān ”， jié shì “ jié rì ”。
"chun" means "spring season," and "jie" means "holiday."
你知道春节是什么时候吗？
měi yī nián dōu bù yī yàng ， yīn wèi wǒ men yòng nóng lì 。
It varies every year because we use the lunar calendar.
每一年都不一样，因为我们用农历。
nóng lì ， jiǎn dān de shuō shì nóng yè de rì lì 。
The lunar calendar is simply an agricultural calendar.
农历，简单地说是农业的日历。
chūn jié shì nóng lì xīn nián de dì yī tiān 。
The Spring Festival is the first day of the lunar new year.
春节是农历新年的第一天。
èr líng èr wǔ nián de chūn jié shì yī yuè èrshíjiǔ hào 。
In 2025, the Spring Festival is on January 29th.
2025年的春节是1月29号。
nǐ zhī dào shí èr shēng xiào ma ？
Do you know about the Chinese zodiac?
你知道十二生肖吗？
měi yī nián yǒu yī zhī dòng wù 。
Each year is represented by an animal.
每一年有一只动物。
xiàn zài hái shì lóng nián ， mǎ shàng jiù shì shé nián le 。
It is still the Year of the Dragon, but soon it will be the Year of the Snake.
现在还是龙年，马上就是蛇年了。
rú guǒ nǐ zài shé nián chū shēng ， nǐ de shēng xiào jiù shì shé 。
If you were born in the Year of the Snake, your zodiac sign is the Snake.
如果你在蛇年出生，你的生肖就是蛇。
rú guǒ nǐ zài shé nián chū shēng ， nǐ de shēng xiào jiù shì shé 。
If you were born in the Year of the Snake, your zodiac sign is the Snake.
你可以告诉别人：“我属蛇。”
nǐ kě yǐ gào sù bié rén ：“ wǒ shǔ shé 。”
You can tell others: "My zodiac sign is Snake."

What do Chinese people do during the Spring Festival?
春节一般有一个星期的假期。

The Spring Festival usually has a one-week holiday.
很多人回老家和家人一起过春节。
hěn duō rén huí lǎo jiā hé jiā rén yī qǐ guò chūn jié 。
Many people return to their hometowns to celebrate the Spring Festival with their families.
