Hello! My name is Mariana da Costa! I’m from Rio, Brazil. I live in London and I am a CELTA qualified English teacher (CELTA stands for ‘Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages’). CELTA is the original TESOL/TEFL certificate course and has been running for six decades. I have learned English since I was a teenager, I studied in an English course in Brazil called IBEU ( Instituto Brazil Estados Unidos). What helped me to boost my speaking and listening in English were talking to people (online practice and traveling) and listening to music. I have taught people from different nationalities (face-to-face and online) and I understand their difficulties in learning English.
