I am going back to Iceland soon and Jero is helping me with basic conversation scenarios. I find that practicing with Jero gives me the confidence to attempt to speak with Icelanders. I have gained some core knowledge from this. Takk!

Í dag ræddum ég og Jero um af hverju við lærum tungumál. (today, Jero and I talked about why we learn languages) We do so because of people. How to communicate thoughts and live among others. While Icelandic requires much self-study, you can't do it alone. Jero is a great teacher for your saga. He genuinely wants to help others learn. And isn't that why language exist between us in the first place? A tool to help others.

Jero is a great teacher. He is very kind and patient. He also teaches Icelandic as a foreigner who learned the language himself as an adult. Because of this, he may be a better fit for a someone who knows nothing of the language. The best thing about Jero is that he knows all types of self-study resources can show you what type of material may be best for your skill set. Thank you Jero.
