Excellent Bulgarian conversation practice and role play.

Aleksandar exceeded my expectations this lesson! I had given him a list of words I was studying beforehand, and he thoughtfully structured the session around them. We started with a quick alphabet recap and a few tongue twisters to warm up and practice pronunciation. Then, he provided me with a short text he had written using my vocabulary list; I read it aloud and translated it, picking up some new words along the way. We also did practical role plays, like hiring a taxi (from the phone call to arriving at the destination) and going grocery shopping. It was so helpful to use the words I had been studying in realistic contexts, while also learning many new, useful phrases. Throughout the lesson, Aleksandar was incredibly accommodating, encouraging, and helpful. I enjoyed it!

Aleksandar was very flexible and allowed me to take the lead in deciding what and how I wanted to learn, which I truly appreciated. He was very encouraging and genuinely invested in helping me learn Bulgarian. He also thoughtfully asked if I had any questions about my upcoming trip to Bulgaria, and kindly answered all of them, which made me feel extra supported :)
