I have over 20-years of experience in business, working in English. I worked in the IT and Energy sector as well as running my own wine business. I adjust the lessons whether you are preparing for an exam, an interview, or you focus on improving your presentation skills or small talk.
Gedurende mijn jaren in het bedrijfleven in de Energie sector, heb ik veel plezier beleefd aan werken met mensen van allerlei culturen. Ik plan individuele lessen. My lessons in Dutch and English are prepared for each individual to meet your targets. Communication to grow confidence in speaking are key. Lessons are structured with a themed approach, vocabulary, listening, reading, and writing. Grammar will be built in and I follow either the NT2 taalmenu or Cambridge English curriculum. I use OneNote which I will share with you and all materials, including links to videos and audio, are stored and accessible to you at all times. I hope to speak to you soon!

Depending on your goal, Marleen can provide support in any aspect of improving your language skills.
I had both general classes to improve my fluency, and special ones dedicated to specific tasks. For example, Marleen helped me successfully prepare for a job interview,
I like the structured way of learning. Each lesson has a common theme with different materials (reading, listening, assignments). Despite this preparation, the conversation can be continued in any direction you wish.
