My name is Romina. My country of birth is Belgium and born in the Dutch-speaking part of Flanders.
I first graduated as a social-cultural worker and did an internship in Ireland for six months. This has greatly improved my speaking skills in English. Then I decided to combine studying and working. So I chose both an education and a job as a teacher. There is a huge shortage of teachers in the big cities in Belgium, so I could start right away.
Now I live on Crete and a job in standard education is not possible, because I do not (yet) master the Greek language. I chose to use my qualities and my experiences for teaching online to people who want to learn Dutch.Öğretmen Olarak Ben
For several years I have built up experience in primary education in the capital of Belgium. I taught not only Dutch, but also French, initiation English, mathematics, science, technology, history and art.
The children have different multicultural backgrounds, with Dutch often being a second or third language or even not spoken at home. In a class of twenty students, I tried to have each student learn at his or her level. Today I challenge myself to teach the Dutch language to adults, but also still to children. Each lesson is built up according to a fixed pattern: repetition of previous lesson, test, new subject matter and practice together. After each lesson you will receive digital exercises. The results are analysed. You will receive personal feedback and any adapted exercises.
We focus on all aspects of the Dutch language: speaking, listening, reading and writing.
Dutch is a challenging language with many rules and exceptions. The difficulty builds up slowly.Öğretim materyallerim
