From an early age, I came in contact with various cultures during travelling and having multicultural friends. There I noticed how I love to be in contact with others and how much energy I gained with this. Exploring each other potential is one of my favorite things to do. I like to work constructively and I believe that conversations in other languages flow naturally when your convo partner makes you feel at ease. Your learning process is central here! Therefore I don't blame you if you would only want one class if there is no connection between us. Our class would be like drinking coffee together ;).

Certified Dutch teacher with years of experience After living quite long in Spain, I'm still a typical 'Kaaskop'. The perfect cheese head to show Dutch and the culture. And guess what, I’m not just helping people with passing their integration & NT2 exams, I also help people after living for many years in The Netherlands to get their Dutch perfect. I’m a translator as well, so know every little grammatical mistake. In addition, I’m teaching in front of groups (6-10 persons), courses for a specific amount of time. But I honestly enjoy the private lessons more, because I see earlier progress and you get to know each other better!

We kunnen in hetzelfde google.docs document werken zodat we kunnen opschrijven wat de nieuwe woorden en grammatica zijn die je leert. Als je wilt kan ik je ook opdrachten meegeven en die kunnen we daarna in een volgende les bespreken. Ik geloof dat het ook heel belangrijk is dat je het leuk vind om de taal te leren, want zo blijf je gemotiveerd! Dus ik zal de lessen ook leuk maken!

Learning a language is hard work, but there's no rule that says you can't also enjoy it. :) I have worked as a teacher in high school for Dutch and in adult education for Dutch and German. Since secondary school, I have been tutoring students in Dutch, English and German. At the moment I also work as a tutor for criminal law, looking for a place to obtain a PhD. I can easily adapt to your (language) learning needs and style. I believe that you learn the most when you're enjoying what you're doing and having fun. My lessons are conversation based; I do not teach Dutch from scratch and I do not offer a structured A to Z course. I'd rather see myself as a coach on your language learning journey than as a teacher pur sang. After all, it's you who has to do the learning!

I like to keep clases light by talking about things that interest us and through my sense of humor. This doesn't mean I'm not serious and I'm not afraid to correct you when you are making mistakes.
