A part which bundles my bamboo sword came untied while I was practicing kendo. I tied it three or four times by myself, but it didn't go well. At that time, a veteran man helped me and my bamboo sword became like a new one. I appreciate his kindness so much.

It was still overcast today. In the morning, I had a great time playing games on my game console without any disturbances while Dad was sleeping in. MeeMaw came by around dusk for her special diet. I helped out by blending the ingredients. The blender felt clunky and clumsy. It was no doubt obsolete. Mom had suggested buying a new one, but Dad, being quite superstitious and paranoid, said that buying it on purpose might become an omen implying that the patient would never recover. So, no new blender! Dad must have been stressed out.
