I am a medical doctor who graduated from school last year. I entered the medical school 7 years ago and got two degrees- Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine. According to the laws, I shall get the Traditional Medical Licence first and am allowed to trained in Western Medicine Unit, mainly as an observer. The hospital I am enrolled in is prestigious. Many of them were sent to very renowned institutes (Cambridge, Oxford, Massachusetts General Hospital...) to practice basic science or clinical research they became senior fellows. I never expected to have the opportunity to be selected by them cause they are very meticulous about the people they are choosing. Now my training have to be put to stop for a while in March, cause I didn't pass the Western Medicine qualification exam a few days ago. I was too busy with jobs and hardly had any time for studying, even for a rest. I was given the notification that I will be out of job if I didn't pass the exam in June. I am hoping I could have the opportunity to combine Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine one day and go to study at Oxford. I tried to calm myself down by reading novels, having tea, exercise, shopping...etc. these days, would be glad if anyone could give me some supports or advices on this matter, thanks.
