Tips that SAVE you MONEY:
● Make sure to check the lesson time in your italki calendar. Don't miss it just due to the difference between the 24-h and 12-h clock. Also check if the time zone on your italki profile is set correctly - especially if you travelled recently.
● Use a laptop/PC with a cable headset in a quiet room. Mobile devices with wireless headsets (or worse: without headset) often cause problems: echoing sound, finger on microphone, empty battery, Bluetooth disconnects, can't open PDFs, fall on the table ...
● If you've never used the italki classroom, please try it out well before the lesson time. This keeps us from loosing valuable minutes in class.
● Install the italki app on your phone, and allow notifications. You'll get lesson reminders and my messages, if you accidentally forget about our class.
● Please note that you must cancel/reschedule any lesson on italki at least 24 hours before the booked time - after that the lesson is fixed.

Hi there!

Thanks for stopping by! In this beginner course, we use a fantastic story that will always make you want to know what happens next (and keep studying). It's child-friendly, and very exciting for adults, too. I'll send you everything you need. We practice all skills: reading, listening, writing, and speaking - with a focus on spoken German dialogues. I also provide you with digital flashcards, PDFs with exercises, grammar explainers, audio files, etc. During the lesson, we will read, translate, and discuss dialogues. I keep track on your vocabulary progress, and also test you at the beginning of the lesson.
