In this class you will learn how to persuade people using a variety of high-level vocabulary and idiomatic expressions that will grab the attention of your audience. We will start with a warm-up exercise to help you improve your precision when using prepositions. Afterwards you will be able to describe your academic and professional experience as if you were in an interview, but beware! Your classmates will also put you to the test with questions of their own! In the second part, we will learn adjectives to describe how efficient or innovative a product is. You will then have the opportunity to sell an idea or product to your classmates as well as challenge others on their pitches. Finally, we will learn some essential idiomatic expressions that are not only useful in the business environment but also in general discussions. As always, there will be some role plays at the end to put the theoretical into practice.
