When you see a regular verb in past tense do you struggle to decided how to pronounce it? Is "cooked" pronounced /cook.ed/, /cookd/, or /cookt/? This class will clarify what the rules are and when to use them. We'll play a board game with the focus of practicing the pronunciation rules for regular past tense verbs. The game board will be virtual. The lesson materials explain the rules and how to play. Every student will have a chance to speak and practice identifying the past tense pronunciation rules for themselves. Because the words are given by the board game you'll get to practice within a structure. And, it will be fun!

You'll learn the pronunciation rules for frequently used regular verbs in their past tense form and you will have the opportunity to practice those rules many times over in a structured format. Additionally, you may learn some new vocabulary from the words we practice with.
