This group class is for intermediate level students (A2-B1 level) who wish to practice their listening, speaking, and discussion abilities. The class is structured into a brief introduction, a listening activity, discussion questions and more. My teaching style is friendly and well-monitored, so you are in good hands throughout the lesson.

Intermediate students will learn new vocabulary, expressions, and how to improve speaking for discussion purposes. Students will practice listening and responding to one other as well. Feedback for improvement will be provided throughout the lesson.

Professor Shellwyn

Professional teacher with a Doctorate in Education & 25 years of teaching experience.

Italki 2022 Statistics: Shellwyn earned the title "Masterful Mentor"; her students come from 29 countries; and she taught for 31,920 minutes this year, landing her in the top 1% of all Italki teachers. For Shellwyn, teaching is a vocation--helping others learn and grow is an extremely satisfying profession! She has taught learners of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds, in both public and private schools. Shellwyn earned her Doctorate in Education in 2009. She began teaching English professionally in 2012 (soon after she moved to Brazil) and earned a post-doctorate in Applied Linguistics in 2014. She also partners with universities on various educational projects.
