Testosterone is falling rapidly. Men in their forties are now developing symptoms that once belonged to men in their sixties, and militaries and governments are starting to notice, the US now screens soldiers for it.
This lesson examines why testosterone is declining, what it does to competitiveness, drive and risk-taking, and whether a lower-testosterone world is something to fear or welcome.
Will men who are less competitive, less assertive, more cautious and less driven build calmer societies, or just more fragile ones?
