In this grammar workshop, we’ll explore the French conditional tense and its various uses in a clear and simple way. You’ll learn how to form it with regular (and some irregular) verbs, and most importantly, when to use it. Of course, we’ll look at polite requests (“Je voudrais un café”), express dreams and wishes (“J’aimerais visiter Paris”), talk about imaginary situations (“Si je gagnais à la loterie…”), but we'll also learn to use it for expressing future in the past! Through examples, clarification and mini-tests, you’ll quickly see how the conditional can make your French sound more natural and expressive. By the end, you’ll feel confident using it in everyday conversation – and who knows, maybe even to order croissants without guilt!
