It‘s for your practice of listening and reading. Repeat after me without reading げんき２, even if you have the textbook. I speak a little faster the second time. 
这是为了你的听力和阅读练习。 即使你有课本，也不要读　げんき２、跟着我重复。 我第二次说得快一点。 
もしあなたが中級（ちゅうきゅう）でも、いいれんしゅうになると思います。 
It should still be good practice even if you are an intermidiate-level student. 
即使您是 N4 或以上级别的学生也很有用

メアリー：どうも。これはなんですか。

みせの人：どれですか。ああ、とんかつです。

メアリー：とんかつ？さかなですか。

みせの人：いいえ、さかなじゃないです。にくです。おいしいですよ。

みせの人：あそこです。

Waiter: Welcome. Here`s the menu.

Mary: Thank you. What`s this?

Waiter: Which one? Oh, it is tonkatsu.

Mary: Tonkatsu? Is it fish?

Waiter: No, it is not fish. It is meat. It is delicious.

Mary: Then, I`ll have this.

Mary: Excuse me. Where is the restroom?

Waiter: It is over there.

Mary: Thank you very much.

Oh man, it's a real trip how some folks think they're all high and mighty in English just 'cause they've crammed a bunch of fancy words. But let me tell ya, knowing a bunch of bombastic vocabulary doesn't automatically make you advanced. It's like putting on a flashy outfit but not knowing how to dance, right? Instead of getting all hung up on being "advanced," it's way more crucial to be well-spoken and really nail the level you're at. Master that foundation, and then build on it. That's where the real growth happens, my friend.
